Terms of service

These terms cover your use of Toy Chest, a private record of the toys your family owns and what your child does with them, run by Toy Chest Ltd. By using it you agree to these terms.

Your chest

You sign up for a household account, which we call a chest. One person owns the chest; they look after billing and can invite a co-parent, a grandparent or a carer. Your child is written about in the chest but is never a user of it and never signs in.

Written descriptions and play ideas

Toy descriptions, play ideas and the note that explains each week’s shelf are drafted by software and are there to help you notice, not to replace your own judgement or professional childcare advice. We do our best to keep them accurate and will tell you when something is uncertain, but we cannot promise they are right or suitable for your child. What you write in your chest is not used to train any model.

Cancelling

Cancel any time from Settings. A yearly plan cancelled part-way keeps working until the end of the year you paid for. If you change your mind within 30 days of paying for a yearly plan, ask and we will refund it.
